It's so wo derful to read about your journey. I defsee the impact of being consistent on notes. Sometimes I add a note and get no response but then other notes attract attention and conversations begin. It's so important not to get disheartened when things are quiet. xx

I think I have a somewhat similar journey as yours. Didn’t receive any engagement for 8 months until 1 day I decided to share my Hero Post, publicly declaring that I want to get past my ‘fear of success’ and things changed for the better. Although engagement on Notes has slowed down a bit but it doesn’t stop me from showing up because there’s so much scope here to have insightful conversations and learn from fellow readers and writers.
I am also planning to use Threads to strengthen my relationship with the community. Lets see how it goes..

Threads is fun but at the beginning no one was engaging with my comments so I was talking to the void. I got over it and now people are participating and asking questions. It's just a new format and we need to give people time.
Hi Veronica - firstly Congratulations- you Go Girl xx that’s wonderful and hope you celebrate with a big bubble bath (May that be of the champagne variety or the bubbles of auld!!) xxxxxxxxxx Secondly, thank you so much for your insights and advice....I’m dying to launch but am trying to find a way to organise my work in a cohesive way (from the archives / new thoughts / resounding theme etc etc) and you really provided some excellent examples from your own experience on how to do this!! Unfortunately I am a tech ‘lost in the Edwardian Era’ - thus just even the basics of creating landing page and sub themes a general quagmire of ‘new learning skills’ but just wanted to say Thank You and really looking forward to following your posts ♥️ your insights are invaluable and if I can re-locate the particular post that I’m referring to (!) - (although now subscribed hopefully can scroll aplomb) - and will be taking notes so can apply xxx Thank you 🙏 again, Congratulations and look forward to connecting and much conversation with the Substack Fam xx 😘 love Sammy xx
You are not alone: many of my subscribers need help with setting things up and I'm actually going to host a webinar on that for my paid subscribers (I have to monetize this a bit :)
That said, I'm always sharing tips for ALL subscribers and the article about my Substack Strategy can be very helpful if you haven't read it yet. I show many "how to" that can be useful.
