It’s the first thing your readers see when they land on your publication, and you want to be a great host and give them a warm welcome.

It’s an evergreen piece of content that is always there as my welcome sign, helping me connect with new and old readers and share my story and my why.
I published it one year after I launched my Substack and my only regret is that I wish I had done it earlier.
I missed an opportunity to connect with my readers, share my vision and create one more touch point and I hope you won’t make the same mistake.
It’s also a Post that has helped me grow in terms of views, audience and revenue. That single post generated:

The crazy thing is that I never sent it to my subscribers (hence the 0% opened email). I simply published it on my Substack home page and hung the WELCOME sign on, inviting my guests in.
