Veronica - I loved hearing and seeing! - more about your publishing journey and all that it took to land the Whale! π³ π
I'm glad you know how to "suffer" and run the big race called the Triathlon ~ as that is a more than apt analogy as you know well - but I'm finding out ~ learning ~ and having fun with~!
In high school, I was on the track team but only ran sprints never long distances because I did not practice slowly increasing my endurance abilities over time. In essence, I was already fast and could run well enough but I didn't want to "suffer" and push myself - and I was really interested in learning.
Now it has been time for me to "grow-up" and learn to enjoyably suffering!
I have the book, I have the query letter, I have my proposal 95% completed, I used a DE, I have a publicist - next is landing a solid agent in my genre nonfiction self-help. Your journey is inspiring and if I lived in Hong Kong I would "hire you" to help me learn how to run again.
Thank you for sharing more about you and your journey ~ it is truly inspiring!
I want the Whale Veronica! π³ ~ thus, I love your advice - put yourself out of your comfort zone! As Melville said - Ignorance is the parent of fear.
Hi Veronica, this was really great! π Thank you ππ€©
Fabulous, and so helpful. Thank you, Veronica!!
Thatβs so great to hear, Jillian!
Are you looking at getting a book deal?
P.S. Veronica - Please, please, please tell me there is a way to get a physical copy of your book? It look like it is only available via Kindle?
Yes, I am old-school. You did not mention your age well by wanting a hard copy I have just revealed mine!
Please advise!
Hahaha, thank you so much!
Yes, there will be a paperback version coming up in March ;)
We are doing the digital launch first.
I will keep you posted.
PS: you'd be surprised, printed books are still super popular!
"PS: you'd be surprised, printed books are still super popular!"
Yes! :)
And what is still popular, for me, is a signed copy of that printed book :))
That would be amazing!
I hope we can make it happen one day.
Thank you for all your support and itβs honestly your question that encouraged me to do the LIVE as I was getting ready for my run, lol.
Veronica you are so inspiring. Thank you for your tips and encouragement. Karen
Thank you, Karen!
I really appreciate it.
Are you thinking about going live yourself?

This is so exciting and I wish you all the best with your journey and finding the agent.
I do find a lot of resilience and endurance in the world of sports. The mindset is the same: keep moving, one step at a time.
So cheers to landing the Whale!
Iβm on your side.
